About Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan is an ancient nation situated beneath the Caucasus Mountains and next to the Caspian Sea. It has a long tradition of hospitality and openness to outside ideas and cultures. Today, musicians like Ulviyya are carrying on the tradition of preserving traditional themes and using the numerous music influences in Azerbaijan to develop new unique sounds to connect to a widening audience in many countries.
